Who We Are

Cedarburg Junior Woman's Club

Our Tradition
CJWC was chartered November 23, 1953, as a member of Federation of Woman's Club by two Cedarburg mothers who wanted to meet new people and do more. (CJWC independently chartered in 1995) Doing more became the mantra of the club.  From its small start, it has grown into a non-profit organization committed to community service within our city and beyond.  As we have evolved, our efforts have remained the same - giving to others and to the community as a whole.  Through the efforts of the women in our community who have been members of CJWC over the past 63 years, we thank you.  Your donations of woman power, financial contributions, and time have gone to support and enrich the lives of many.  Our club's service focus is broad but categorized into three areas: community, children, and seniors.  Our service efforts reach into and are a part of the unique quality of life that we all value in Cedarburg.  We are proud of the club's history, proud of the women who support our club, and proud to be a part of Cedarburg.

Our Membership
Interested women 21 years or older living in Cedarburg or neighboring communities may apply.  Individuals are eligible for membership after attending one prospective member function and one general meeting and after paying annual dues of $50. Please contact our Membership Director, Lisa Schmit, for more information.

Our Meetings
General Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, September through May.  The meetings are held at various venues in the Cedarburg and Grafton area as determined by the social committee.  Social time begins at 6:30 pm followed by the business meeting at 7:00 pm.  Our May meeting is a year-end banquet.
