Mark your Calendars for March 20!

On March 20th, public registration for Safety Town and Safety Camp will open on this website at 9am. 

THERE WILL NOT BE AN IN-PERSON REGISTRATION THIS YEAR.

Please note, you will need to be able to download and print the registration forms and mail them to the CJWC PO Box no later than March 31st.

You will be able to pay for your child(ren)'s registration online and this will reserve your spot(s).  Our online marketplace accepts Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express and PayPal. 

Each Safety Town session is limited to the first 42 registrants and each Safety Camp session is limited to the first 16 registrants.  Reservations are non refundable.

ATTENTION TEENS:  Safety Town & Safety Camp Need You

The Cedarburg junior Woman’s Club is now accepting applications for teen volunteers for its 2010 Summer Safety Programs:

Safety Camp runs June 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 at Westlawn Elementary

Safety Town runs from June 14-25 @ Faith Lutheran Church, N35 W6621 Wilson Ave.

 

Safety Town is a safety instruction program for children entering Kindergarten.  This two-week course consists of large and small group discussions, songs, videos, games & activities focusing on many types of safety.  Field trips and an outdoor street safety course are included. 

 

·         Teen volunteers must be at least entering 7th grade this fall

·         Teen volunteers must attend the full two week session

·         Three sessions will be offered:  8-10am, 10:30-12:30, 1-3pm

 

Safety Camp is a refresher course for children entering 3rd and 4th grades.  Children attending these ONE-DAY sessions will be riding their bikes throughout Cedar burg, learning bike, playground, park and pool safety rules, as well as stranger awareness.

 

·         Teen volunteers must be at least entering 8th grade this fall

·         Teen volunteers must be available for the full 6 hour day

·         A properly sized, street safe bike, water bottle & helmet are required

·         Five sessions are offered:  each run from 9am-3pm

·         Volunteers may sign up for one or more days

 

A 30 minute mandatory Orientation Meeting will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church on Friday, June 11 2010 at 1pm. 

 

This is a great opportunity to work with children and to collect service hours!!  Besides the smiles and hugs from the children, you will also receive an official t-shirt and thank-you letters.
