About Us

Our Mission

Cedarburg Junior Woman's Club (CJWC) is a non-profit organization committed to serving our community.  We volunteer our time and talents and provide financial support for civic, cultural, education and social projects.  We dedicate our efforts to the betterment of our families, our friends and our futures.

Our Tradition

CJWC was chartered November 23, 1953, as a member of Federation of Woman's Clubs.  CJWC independently chartered in 1995.

Our Membership

Interested women 21 years or older living in Cedarburg or neighboring communities may apply.  Individuals are eligible for membership after attending one prospective member function and one general meeting and after paying annual dues.

Our Meetings

General Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, September through May (except December).  The meetings are held at the Cedarburg Cultural Center or another local venue as determined by the social committee.  Social time begins at 6:30pm followed by the business meeting at 7:00 pm.  Our May meeting is a year-end banquet. 

CJWC hosts, sponsors or participates in many community events through the year.

Our fundraisers include:  Festival of Trees, Toast for Charity, Wearable Art Show and the Spring Brunch.

Our service projects include:  Trick or Treat at LaSata, Letters to Santa, Secret Santa Gift Shoppe, German Feast at LaSata, Spring Luncheon at the Senior Center, Safety Town and Camp, Advocates room refresher, collections for area charities, and many, many others.

Community partipation includes:  Summer Sounds, Relay for Life, BBBS Bowl-a-thon, Hometown Celebration, CCSF Endowment, CHS Community Service Project and Cedarburg Community Halloween Party.
